Job Purpose: The individual will be responsible for managing the securitization transactions of mortgage book within the housing finance company. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, including finance, treasury, MIS & Reporting, legal, risk management, and operations teams, as well as external parties such as investors and rating agencies, to structure and execute securitization transactions. The individual will play a crucial role in optimizing funding options and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and act as a subject matter expert on securitization matters within the organization
Enabling Skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Advanced qualification (CA, MBA, CFA) is a plus.
Proven experience in securitization, structured finance, or related areas within the financial services industry.
Familiarity with mortgage-backed securities (MBS), asset-backed securities (ABS) markets.
Solid understanding of securitization principles, methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Solid financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
