Role Description The Sr. Manager EIA(Blast Furnace/Sinter plant) role at BMM ISPAT LTD. is a full time, in office position based in Karnataka, India. The Sr. Manager will oversee daily operations within their assigned function, ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and cost optimization. The role involves coordinating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, preparing management reports, and supporting long-term planning for capacity, technology, and resource utilization.
Qualifications
Solid leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, mentoring, and performance management.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in steel, mining, or heavy manufacturing environments.
Strong EIA background with good leadership skills
Solid knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality control systems.
Ability to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance in line with industry standards and local regulations.
Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making
