What the role would look like
Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models from requirements gathered with business users
Write and tune SQL (joins, CTEs, views, basic stored procedures)



to shape data for reporting
Build in Power Query and DAX, with a transparent separation between the source layer and the model layer
Re-point existing reports from the current SQL databases to the current data warehouse, validate that numbers match before and after, and document any differences
Apply naming, formatting, and certification standards, and handle basic workspace administration and refresh scheduling
Train and support report consumers at a light level

Requirements to list
4 to 6 years of Power BI development, with solid DAX and Power Query
Solid working SQL, enough to read and write queries against relational databases and understand schemas, keys, and star-schema modeling
Experience validating and reconciling report output against source data
Familiarity with an ERP system is a plus especially SAP B1
Nice to have: exposure to Fabric, Azure SQL, or Synapse, and Power Automate
