We are looking for an experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineer with solid hands-on experience in Linux, Shell/Automation Scripting, SQL, Observability, and Scheduling processes .
The role involves supporting production applications, troubleshooting issues, automating repetitive activities, and improving operational efficiency through TOIL reduction .
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in L2/L3 Production/Application Support .
Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux/Unix .
Strong SQL skills – ability to troubleshoot and analyze production issues using SQL queries.
Experience with Shell scripting or other automation scripting languages .
Knowledge of Application/Production Observability and monitoring .
Experience in TOIL reduction through automation and process improvements.
Good understanding of job scheduling and scheduling processes .
Strong troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
Experience working in a production support environment.
Valuable to Have
Banking / Financial Services domain knowledge .
Experience working with critical production applications.
Knowledge of automation and monitoring tools.
