Patient/Customer Care
To ensure procedure in a safe and prescribed manner.
To respect the privacy and confidentiality of patients, visitors and physicians.Job Knowledge
To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.
To assist consultants in carrying out various procedures including bronchoscopy
To maintain effective communication and ensure that patient is properly informed and prepared for test and procedure.Process Orientation/Documentation
To ensure error free routine tests and examinations and record the results in department registers.
To understand and operate the equipments
To maintain and upkeep all related equipments of the department used
To ensure consent form is filled and explained to the patient whenever required by the doctor.

10.To work with the aim to save workplace in all possible ways. 11.To have complete orientation of IMS system of Hospital.

12.To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
Comply with patient safety policy.
To record Log of Incidents for the occupational events ,

To assist in training of recent employees.
To train and educate subordinates regarding functioning of all equipments of the department.
To train the junior staff about environment safety protocols.Cost & Revenue
To implement infection control policy & proper waste
To ensure minimal wastage of films and repeat examinations and to ensure that adequate stocks of materials are maintained in the department. Discipline

Technical

Radiation Safety

Officer to perform duties and function as prescribed:

a) Training of staff on radiation safety b) Radiation surveillance Radiation symbol c) Duty of the employer to maintain certain history records of radiation worker Medical examination of radiation workers Records of medical examinations Leadership/Behavioral Competencies High level of communication and coordination.
