Role & responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC, VMC (Vertical Machining Center), and HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) machines.
Perform machine setting, job changeover, tool offset correction, and program loading.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T; specifications.
Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary parameter adjustments.
Maintain cycle time, productivity, and quality targets.
Perform preventive maintenance and daily machine checks.
Follow 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety standards on the shop floor.
Maintain production and inspection records.
