Must-Have Skills
8+ years of software/data engineering experience with significant technical leadership exposure.
Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks.
Solid knowledge of Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark/PySpark and data modelling.
Excellent programming experience in Python.
Knowledge in building REST APIs, microservices and backend applications.
Good understanding of frontend development and application architecture React/Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript or similar.
Knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Git, DevOps, cloud deployment, monitoring and production support.
Good knowledge of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems and scalable applications.
Robust communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
Good to Have
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect / Data Engineer.
Experience with Terraform/IaC, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions or similar tools.
Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures and API gateways.
Experience working directly with enterprise clients and managing multiple technical workstreams.
