Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure quality standards are met by conducting regular inspections and testing of transformers.
Coordinate transformer manufacturing activities from core assembly to final assembly.
Monitor manpower, material availability, machine utilization and production progress.
Monitor winding operations for power, distribution and furnace transformers.
Supervise tanking, fitting, oil filling and other assembly operations as applicable.
Coordinate with fabrication, design, stores and testing departments.
Ensure manufacturing activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable IS/IEC standards.
Practical knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes.
Understanding of transformer drawings, winding data, insulation materials and assembly procedures
Ability to coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Testing departments.
