We are open to either hiring one combined specialist proficient in both CAD &
CAM or two separate engineers (one dedicated CAD Engineer and one dedicated CAM Engineer) based on candidate expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Scope (SolidWorks):
Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
Design and modify dies, fixtures, tooling, and machine components.
Read engineering drawings and apply standard tolerances / GD&T.;
Maintain CAD drawing files and technical documentation.
CAM Scope (SolidCAM &
VMC Programming):
Develop, simulate,
and optimize CNC/VMC machining programs using SolidCAM.
Select optimal cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
Support program prove-out directly on the VMC machine and resolve floor machining issues.
Optimize machining cycle time, tool consumption, and overall cost.
Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Quality, and VMC Operators.
Desired Profile / Skillset:
2–3 years hands-on experience in SolidWorks, SolidCAM, or both.
Robust practical knowledge of VMC/CNC machining parameters and tooling.
Experience in forging, tool room, or die manufacturing is a robust advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
