Job Description – Shift Incharge / Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise daily production activities during the assigned shift.
Execute the production plan while maintaining Quality, Cost, Safety and Efficiency as per SOP.
Develop, implement and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards including HACCP, GMP and FSSC.
Plan production schedules and ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
Minimize material wastage, manpower wastage and production costs.
Supervise operators, helpers, junior staff and labour working on the production floor.
Allocate work and monitor employee productivity during the shift.




Train current employees, helpers and production workers.
Ensure employees follow proper personal hygiene and plant hygiene practices.
Monitor machinery and equipment used in production and coordinate for required maintenance.
Identify production issues and take corrective action to avoid delays.
Maintain proper production documentation and daily production reports.
Maintain stock records and prepare/update month-end stock sheets.
Ensure products meet required quality standards and production timelines.
Resolve operational and manpower-related issues during the shift.
