They are looking for a Dell PowerFlex System Administrator / VMware Infrastructure Engineer to support their managed services environment in Pune, India, with a hybrid model requiring 3 days per week from the office.
The role will primarily focus on day-to-day operational support, administration, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere/VCF running on Dell PowerFlex Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI). This is a 24×7 managed services environment, so strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in a production environment is essential.
The organization previously migrated from a Cisco HyperFlex infrastructure to Dell PowerFlex approximately two years ago and is now looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of the existing PowerFlex/VMware workplace and support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on administration and support for Dell PowerFlex infrastructure and VMware vSphere/VCF.
Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations within a 24×7 managed services environment.
Support configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance of the PowerFlex and VMware environment.
Participate in new site onboarding, infrastructure configuration,
implementation, and go-live activities.
Support new programs and deployments using the organization's existing standardized infrastructure design and architecture.
Work closely with the infrastructure and managed services teams to ensure smooth production operations.
Troubleshoot complex VMware, PowerFlex, virtualization, and HCI-related issues.
Provide robust hands-on production support rather than a purely coordination or monitoring role.
Experience with implementation and infrastructure deployment/bidding activities would be highly valuable.
