Job Purpose

To provide excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of hospitality, hygiene, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, explain menu items, and recommend food and beverages.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained according to hotel standards.
Attend to guest requests, feedback, and complaints courteously.
Coordinate with the kitchen, stewarding, and service team for smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and service areas.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hotel service standards.
Prepare the restaurant for service and complete closing duties as assigned.
Ensure correct billing procedures and coordinate with the cashier when required.
Handle hotel equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware carefully.
Follow grooming standards, attendance rules,



and departmental policies.
Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass; hospitality qualification preferred.
Experience: 0–2 years in hotel or restaurant service; freshers may be considered for trainee positions.
Skills: Valuable communication, customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Basic English communication is preferred.
