About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior FMCG Merchandiser to manage FMCG categories, assortment, inventory, pricing, sales performance and store execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage FMCG category merchandising and assortment planning.
Analyse sales, margins, SKU performance and market trends.
Manage inventory, replenishment, stock ageing and availability.
Plan pricing, promotions and seasonal offers.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse and store teams.
Ensure proper product placement and merchandising across stores.
Prepare MIS and business performance reports.




Lead and manage the merchandising/category team.

Required Experience & Skills:
10–20 years of experience in FMCG merchandising/category management.
Robust experience in up-to-date trade, supermarket or large-format retail.
Experience with FMCG categories such as Grocery, Beverages, Personal Care and Packaged Foods.
Candidates from DMart, Reliance Retail, Vishal Mega Mart, More Retail, V-Mart, Spencer’s or similar companies preferred.
Solid skills in category management, inventory planning, vendor management, negotiation, Advanced Excel and MIS.
Graduate required; MBA/PGDM will be an advantage.
