We are looking for a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards.
Operate machines and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Set up machines and adjust operating parameters as required.
Load raw materials and unload finished components safely.
Monitor machine operation and ensure smooth production.
Inspect products during production to ensure required dimensions and quality standards are met.
Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Identify machine problems, abnormal sounds, defects, or production issues and report them to the supervisor.
Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace.
Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE.
Minimize material wastage, machine downtime, and rejection rates.
Coordinate with the Quality and Maintenance teams whenever required.
Follow 5S and other workplace improvement practices.
Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing workplace is preferred.
Knowledge of machine operation, basic production processes, and quality inspection.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings is an advantage.
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
Positive attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
