Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Mechanic to join our shop floor maintenance team. As a trainee mechanic, you will gain hands-on experience in machine repairing, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting to ensure our state-of-the-art automated manufacturing machinery runs efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in executing routine preventive maintenance (PM) schedules on advanced automated manufacturing machinery (e.g., CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, and automated presses).
- Perform hands-on machine repairs and downtime maintenance, addressing mechanical breakdowns rapidly under the guidance of senior maintenance engineers.
- Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and servicing basic pneumatic systems, hydraulic cylinders, conveyor belts, and mechanical drives.
- Maintain accurate service logs, record spare parts consumption, and document daily shop-floor maintenance interventions.




- Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety standards, and 5S workplace organization during all repair activities.

Eligibility

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or ITI in Fitter/Mechanic trades or relevant courses.
- Freshers are highly encouraged to apply; a strong foundational understanding of mechanical concepts is required.
- Basic theoretical knowledge of preventive maintenance, machine mechanics, and industrial safety.
- Eagerness to work hands-on on the shop floor and a proactive attitude toward learning.
