Project Role: Performance Engineer
Project Role Description: Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards.
Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous improvement of cloud solutions are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and on-premises systems.
- Assist in documenting architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to meet operational requirements.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Now IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud setting management.
- Knowledge of performance testing and validation techniques for cloud solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Service Now IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
