Role: GitHub Enablement

Responsible for designing, automating and supporting enterprise GitHub Actions solutions, including secure and cost-effective self-hosted runners on AWS EKS.

Core mandatory skills

- Solid hands-on GitHub Actions and workflow YAML development
- Ability to create workflows from scratch and troubleshoot failed pipelines
- GitHub-hosted, larger and self-hosted runner architecture
- Runner cost, security, performance and workload-selection considerations
- Deploying and auto-scaling self-hosted runners on Kubernetes/EKS
- Actions Runner Controller (ARC), Helm and Docker
- Reusable workflows, composite actions and pipeline templates




- Python scripting and automation
- GitHub REST API and GraphQL
- Secrets, permissions, OIDC and secure authentication
- Linux, Kubernetes and CI/CD troubleshooting

screening requirement

The candidate must have implemented GitHub Actions workflows and self-hosted runnersnot only used existing pipelines. They must be able to explain how to deploy runners on EKS and select between GitHub-hosted and self-hosted runners based on cost, security and workload requirements.
