We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
- Write, execute, and troubleshoot JCL jobs for batch processing.
- Work with DB2 for SQL queries, data retrieval, and database operations.
- Develop and maintain online transaction processing applications using CICS.
- Manage and access datasets using VSAM.
- Perform application debugging, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and application enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow established coding standards.
