JOB DESCRIPTION HEALTH INSURANCE EXECUTIVE – RENEWALS

Experience: 1+ Year in Health Insurance / Insurance Industry

Role: 75% Sales | 25% Operations

Qualification: BQP Qualified – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with customers from the provided renewal database and understand their current health insurance requirements.
- Drive Health Insurance renewal sales and customer retention.
- Understand existing coverage, customer requirements and changes in family needs, and recommend appropriate renewal options.
- Explain renewal premium, coverage, perks, add-ons and key policy terms clearly.
- Handle customer objections and work towards higher renewal conversion and retention.
- Follow up proactively before policy expiry to ensure timely renewal and avoid policy lapse.
- Coordinate with insurers for renewal quotations, policy details, endorsements and other requirements.
- Maintain accurate renewal status, follow-up remarks and customer data in CRM/Excel.
- Achieve assigned monthly renewal, conversion and retention targets.
- Ensure timely documentation,



payment follow-up and policy issuance/renewal.

Required Skills

- 1+ year experience in Health Insurance / Insurance Industry.
- BQP qualification is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Health Insurance products, coverage, policy terms and renewal processes.
- Excellent communication, convincing and customer-handling skills.
- Strong sales, renewal, retention and conversion ability.
- Good MS Excel skills – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters and basic formulas.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship-management skills.
- Ability to handle renewal objections and negotiate effectively.
- Target-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
- Working knowledge of CRM and insurer portals.

Key Focus

- 75% Sales – Renewal conversion, customer retention, need assessment, objection handling and target achievement.
- 25% Operations – Renewal coordination, documentation, insurer follow-up and CRM/MIS updates.
