We are looking for a Siemens NX Automation Developer to develop customized applications, automation tools, and design accelerators within Siemens NX, primarily focused on Plastic Injection Mold Design using NX Mold Wizard.
The candidate will work closely with mold designers to automate repetitive design activities, reduce design cycle time, standardize processes, and improve overall engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools using Siemens NX Open API.
• Create custom applications, menus, dialogs, and workflows inside Siemens NX.
• Automate mold design activities in NX Mold Wizard.
• Develop scripts and macros for repetitive design tasks.
• Create intelligent design templates and rule-based automation.
• Integrate NX with company databases, Excel, ERP, or Teamcenter systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing NX customization tools.
• Work with mold design teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
Required Skills
- Robust experience in Siemens NX Customization.
• Hands-on experience with NX Open API.
• Programming knowledge in C#,
VB.NET, C++, or Python.
• Experience in NX Journaling.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Knowledge of NX Mold Wizard.
• Understanding of Plastic Injection Mold Design concepts.
• Experience in developing standalone and integrated NX applications.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge Fusion (KF) programming.
• Teamcenter customization or integration.
• CAD automation experience in tooling, fixtures, or mold design.
• Database integration (SQL Server, MySQL).
• UI development using .NET technologies.
Educational Qualification
- BE / BTech Mechanical Engineering
• Additional certification in Siemens NX Programming is preferred
