Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs, implement request validation, and integrate third-party services.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex to accelerate development.
- Follow specification-driven development practices by translating requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications into code and tests.
- Generate, review, debug, and refactor AI-assisted code to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Write unit tests and integration tests using tools such as Pytest.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Integrate applications with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.




- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize API response times.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver software solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and development standards.

Must-Have Skills

- Robust proficiency in Python programming.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Understanding of services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, or ECS, depending on the architecture.
- Practical experience using at least one AI coding assistant, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex.
