Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA to manage support and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments The candidate will be responsible for database administration performance tuning backup and recovery security management and ensuring high availability of missioncritical databases
Key Responsibilities
Install configure upgrade and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
Monitor database performance availability and health
Perform database backup recovery and disaster recovery planning
Troubleshoot databaserelated incidents and perform root cause analysis RCA
Implement and manage High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR solutions such as Always On Availability Groups Log Shipping and Replication
Execute database patching upgrades and migrations
Perform capacity planning and database performance tuning
Optimize SQL queries stored procedures indexes and database objects
Manage database security user access roles and permissions
Collaborate with application infrastructure and support teams to resolve issues
Create and maintain database administration documentation and SOPs
Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit standards
