Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications using Python. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Python programming, backend development, API integration, database management, cloud technologies, and software architecture, along with proven experience leading technical teams and delivering high-quality solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Python-based applications.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Define technical architecture, coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Implement automated testing using PyTest, unittest, or other relevant testing frameworks.




- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, technical discussions, and project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, coding standards, and security practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Expertise in REST APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks, caching, logging, and application performance optimization.
- Experience with Git, code review practices, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of system design, design patterns, and scalable application architecture.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.

Leadership and Soft Skills

- Proven experience leading or mentoring Python development teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience managing priorities, deadlines, and technical deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to data engineering, AI/ML integration, or Generative AI is an added advantage.
- Relevant cloud certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
