Role & responsibilities

- Analyze non-functional requirements and develop performance and load test scenarios for APIs and distributed software systems.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance and load tests based on defined test plans and requirements.
- Implement and maintain performance testing solutions in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain performance testing infrastructure, frameworks, and tools.
- Perform system-level performance testing to evaluate scalability, stability, responsiveness, and system behavior under varying workloads.
- Develop and maintain reusable automated functional test scripts for front-end and back-end applications.
- Implement UI test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent frameworks.
- Integrate automated functional and performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as Grafana k6, Apache JMeter, or equivalent tools to execute tests and analyze results.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis of performance and functional issues.
- Identify,



assess, and manage project risks, technical dependencies, and potential issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve defects.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts, execution reports, test documentation, and other testing artifacts.
- Track and report testing metrics, including test coverage, pass rates, defect trends, and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational testing standards, coding guidelines, and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to test design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across distributed teams and time zones to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
- Support testing activities to achieve project quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging performance testing tools, automation technologies, and industry best practices.
