Responsibilities

- Support senior security personnel in monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
- Provide support in responding to security incidents by assisting in investigations and implementing prescribed measures under supervision.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures for network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Perform networking and vulnerability scanning assessments
- Install and support security software and tools like anti-virus tools, firewalls, systems and patch management
- Establish and analyze security requirements for existing networks in your organization
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness of security best practices and protocols.
- Contribute to promoting a culture of security consciousness within the organization




- Collaborate with the security team and other relevant departments to gain exposure to various aspects of network security.

Skills and Qualifications

- Managing firewalls, VPN, Antivirus, VAPT, SIEM, Patch Management
- Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, VPNs).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT security or system/network administration.
