Roles & Responsibilities

- Define and drive the API Testing and Automation Strategy for enterprise-wide microservices architecture.
- Architect and implement robust API QA solutions covering integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipeline-based testing frameworks and automation delivery.
- Define strategic directions for API Microservices and identify the required testing tools, technologies, and frameworks.
- Design and deliver scalable testing solutions for multiple API services and API call chains.
- Ensure implementation of agreed architecture and test infrastructure across all squads.
- Provide technical leadership to Full Stack Engineers, QA Engineers, and Automation Teams.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered testing solutions and intelligent automation practices.
- Leverage UI Path capabilities for automation and process optimization initiatives.
- Ensure code reusability, standardization, and automation framework governance across squads.
- Oversee development and implementation activities across multiple parallel agile teams.
- Bridge business requirements and technology solutions through effective solution design.
- Drive sprint-wise automation coverage and ensure automation milestones are achieved.
- Ensure adherence to onsite-offshore delivery models, timelines, quality standards, and governance processes.




- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders for requirements, reviews, feedback, and solution sign-offs.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust experience in API Testing & API Automation
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience in designing Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks
- Working knowledge of UI Path
- Exposure to AI/GenAI-based Testing Technologies
- API Automation Tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, ReadyAPI, or similar
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- DevOps and TestOps implementation experience
- Containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Performance and Integration Testing exposure
- Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) domain experience preferred

Preferred candidate profile

- 12-16+ years of experience in QA Automation and Test Architecture.
- Proven experience leading multiple agile squads and enterprise automation initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, solution design, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive transformation through automation, AI, and engineering best practices.
