The IT GRC Manager role is responsible for ensuring that IT systems and practices adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. This role plays a critical part in managing and implementing improvements to enhance IT GRC practices for the organization.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in IT compliance, governance, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian banking regulations, RBI GKC recommendations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mind set with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks effectively.
Overall Job Description:
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all IT vendor operations, systems,
and processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, including RBI/SEBI guidelines, and cybersecurity standards.
- Regulatory Reporting: Robust knowledge of Regulators Master Directions on Outsourcing Risk and corresponding reporting.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and industry best practices, related to IT Vendors
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities within the IT Vendor Landscape.
- Auditing and Reporting: Lead and coordinate internal and external audits related to IT Vendors. Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changing regulations and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance IT compliance posture.
