Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to work with NECI. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies , along with good knowledge of frontend technologies and modern software development practices.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with a good understanding of the Spring ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Microservices architecture .
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, analysis, design patterns, and development practices .
- Good knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL .
- Experience with cloud-based technologies .
- Hands-on experience with Maven/build tools .
- Knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript .
- Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience working with Eclipse IDE and Visual Studio Code .

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with IoT, FIWARE, or IUDX .
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies .
- Experience with RabbitMQ .
- Experience working with short release cycles and the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .




- Experience with JIRA and Confluence .
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and participate in design, coding, and unit testing .
- Create and maintain architecture and design documentation .
- Develop scalable and high-quality Java-based applications and microservices.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned modules while maintaining code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical discussions.
- Experiment with new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
- Provide regular status updates to the Lead and Project Manager .
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy throughout the development lifecycle.

Prerequisites
- Qualification: B.Tech (CS/IT) / MCA
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in the IT software industry.
- Robust communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to take ownership, contribute independently, and work effectively within a team.
