Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Education Counsellor / Career Development Advisor to guide prospective learners regarding online higher education programs while driving admissions and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, emails and in-person meetings.
- Understand students' educational and career goals.
- Counsel students on suitable online degree and certificate programs.
- Explain course structure, eligibility, university options and career outcomes.
- Handle the complete admission process from enquiry to registration.
- Follow up with leads and achieve monthly sales/admission targets.
- Handle objections and effectively convert leads into admissions.
- Maintain lead and follow-up records in CRM.
- Build robust relationships with prospective learners.
- Stay updated with online education trends and competitor offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in sales, academic counselling, admission counselling or online education counselling.
- Candidates with experience in online degree counselling / EdTech sales will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, work-from-office environment.
