Job Overview -
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Technical Lead – Java with strong hands-on programming and coding expertise. The candidate will lead and mentor a Java development team while contributing to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities -
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable Java applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and define project scope.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Identify and resolve Java application performance issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.
- Stay updated with the latest Java, Spring Boot, and software development technologies.
Required Skills
- 7–12 years of experience in Java Development / Java Technical Lead roles.
- Robust hands-on experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of Spring Boot features such as:
- Experience with Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Caching.
- Strong experience in REST API development and Microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of OOP concepts, Design Patterns, and coding best practices.
- Experience with JUnit / Unit Testing and writing maintainable test cases.
- Strong understanding of Java application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading or mentoring software development teams.
- Good knowledge of SQL, Relational Databases, and ORM technologies.
- Experience with Git / Version Control Systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker / Containerization.
