Role & responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP / Ind AS and internal accounting policies

• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and statutory filings

• Monitor revenue recognition, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and balance

sheet reconciliations

• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models

• Perform variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast

• Analyze operating expenses, cloud costs, headcount costs, and key business

metrics

• Support revenue, gross margin, and cash flow reporting

• Build management dashboards, MIS reports, and business performance

analyses

• Support leadership with financial insights and scenario analysis for decisionmaking

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies

• Partner with AP, AR, payroll, procurement, and cross-functional teams

• Work with ERP systems and improve reporting processes using Excel, Power BI,or similar tools
