Role: JD for Services Business Development & Technical Aftersales - Mechanical

Experience: 15 + Years of experience in Aluminium Smelting

Industry: Aluminium

Educational Qualification: B.E in Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

- Knowledge on Fives Equipments
- Advanced technical background on Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Audit & Repair services
- Advanced understanding of Pneumatic & Hydraulic circuits
- Basic understanding & execution of various maintenance philosophies




- Mechanical Machinery overhauling
- Assessing risk associated with site activities & preparing detailed HIRADEC

Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and manage equipment refurbishment, overhaul, and modernization activities.
- Provide technical support to customers for mechanical products
- Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and service interventions.
- Visit customer sites to carry out upgrades, inspections, testing, commissioning support, and technical assessments.
- Be available for frequent travel to customer locations.
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with Fives safety standards and customer HSE requirements.
- Support external and internal sales teams by providing technical expertise, site assessments, and commercial inputs.
- Review technical reports, service findings, and RCA reports for critical equipment issues.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment availability, productivity, and asset reliability.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, technical issues, and service requests.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for key customers on mechanical aftersales and service related matters.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational challenges, maintenance requirements, and future business opportunities.
