Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system.
The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt the application accordingly is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the service delivery platform.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal service levels.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base articles for team reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
Hands-on expertise in Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, HR Catalogs, and Lifecycle Events.
Experience with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Server.
Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies and Service Now release management.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, SAP, or ADP is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (HRSD)
Experience working in large-scale enterprise HR transformation programs
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Service Now Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
