Service Engineer - SMT Equipment

Experience: 1 - 3 Years
Location: Chennai / Bangalore / North India
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – ECE / EEE / Electronics / Electrical

Job Summary

We are looking for a Service Engineer with 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in SMT equipment. The candidate will be responsible for machine installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer-site technical support.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Install and commission SMT machines at customer locations.
- Handle Pick & Place, SMT Printer and Reflow machines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
- Identify machine faults and perform RCA / 5-Why analysis.
- Attend customer complaints and provide technical support.
- Perform machine calibration, changeover and parameter adjustments.
- Support machine testing, reinstallation and handover.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.




- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for service activities.
- Travel to customer locations across India as required.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of hands-on SMT Equipment experience.
- Pick & Place experience is mandatory.
- Experience in Printer and Reflow machines.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Positive understanding of RCA / 5-Why.
- Customer handling and basic communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer service and commissioning.
