About the Role

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to keep our factory at IMT Manesar running to plan. The role turns priorities set by leadership into a transparent daily and weekly production schedule — allocating work across carpentry, polishing, upholstery and finishing, tracking every order from material to dispatch, and closing the loop on delays before they reach the client.

This is a hands-on, shop-floor role for someone organised, calm under pressure and relentless about follow-through. You will be the link between management and the execution teams, in a founder-led organisation where luxury-level quality and on-time delivery are both non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning — Prepare daily and weekly production plans for each order, aligned with project timelines, drawings and priorities agreed with the Production Manager and leadership
- Task Allocation — Allocate work to carpenters, polishers, upholsterers and contractors; communicate priorities and deadlines clearly, and reallocate when plans change
- Material & Resource Readiness — Coordinate with purchase, stores and design teams so materials, hardware, drawings and manpower are ready before work begins
- Progress Tracking — Track each order stage by stage — cutting, carpentry, polishing, upholstery, assembly,



packing and dispatch — and flag bottlenecks early
- Process & Quality Discipline — Ensure SOPs, job cards and quality checkpoints are followed; work with QC to close rework and identify recurring issues
- Cross-Functional Coordination — Act as the single coordination point between production, QC, purchase, design, projects and dispatch to avoid delays and misalignment
- Reporting — Maintain the production tracker and share daily status and weekly summaries — work done, pending items, deviations and escalations

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering, Furniture Technology or a related field
- 4–10 years in production planning or coordination, preferably in furniture, interiors, woodworking or joinery manufacturing
- Ability to read drawings and understand shop-floor processes — joinery, finishes, upholstery and hardware
- Proficient in MS Excel and production tracking or ERP systems; strong follow-up and communication skills
- Comfortable working with skilled workers and contractors; firm yet respectful; good working knowledge of Hindi and English

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
