About Cafe Gujjubhai

Cafe Gujjubhai is a growing vegetarian food and beverage brand focused on delivering delicious food, consistent quality, hygiene, and an excellent customer experience across its outlets.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Controller to ensure food quality, hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently maintained across our outlets and central kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor food quality, taste, freshness, portion sizes, and presentation across all outlets.
- Conduct regular quality audits at restaurant outlets and the central kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and storage standards.
- Verify raw materials, ingredients, and finished products for quality and freshness.
- Monitor expiry dates, stock rotation, temperature controls, and storage practices.
- Ensure adherence to standard recipes, SOPs, and food preparation procedures.
- Identify quality issues, customer complaints, and operational deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor food wastage and recommend measures to reduce losses without compromising quality.
- Maintain quality inspection reports,



audit checklists, and corrective action records.
- Train kitchen staff and outlet teams on food safety, personal hygiene, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with outlet managers, kitchen teams, procurement, and operations to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI requirements and internal company standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Hotel Management, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control, food safety, or quality assurance in restaurants, QSRs, hotels, or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and FSSAI guidelines.
- Robust observation, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel between Cafe Gujjubhai outlets and the central kitchen in Bangalore.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple teams.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
