- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection molding tools and moulds.
- Dismantle, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble moulds.
- Check and maintain core, cavity, inserts, ejector pins, guide pillars, bushes, slides, lifters, and other mould components.
- Identify and rectify mould-related production problems such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and parting-line defects.
- Check cooling channels, water leakage, heaters, hot runner systems, and temperature control components.
- Carry out basic fitting, grinding, polishing, drilling, tapping, and machining work as required.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality Departments to resolve mould-related issues.
- Attend mould breakdowns and minimize machine downtime and production losses.
- Maintain mould history, maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor mould condition and recommend repair, modification, replacement, or improvement when required.
- Maintain adequate spare parts and mould components in the tool room.




- Coordinate with external tool/mould vendors for major repairs, modifications, and technical support.
- Conduct mould trials after maintenance and verify that the mould is producing components according to specifications.
- Ensure proper mould storage, identification, preservation, and housekeeping.
- Follow company safety procedures, 5S, quality standards, and maintenance practices.

Required Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in injection molding tool/mould maintenance.
- Experience in plastic products, toys, automotive components, or similar manufacturing industries preferred.
- Knowledge of mould maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read mould drawings and basic technical drawings.
- Positive coordination skills with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
