Daily Responsibilities

- Drive hospital vehicles safely and responsibly as per assigned duty.
- Transport patients, attendants, doctors, employees, and hospital materials as authorized.
- Provide ambulance driving support when assigned and appropriately trained.
- Follow all traffic rules, speed limits, and road safety requirements.
- Check vehicle condition before starting duty, including fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, horn, and essential equipment.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic hygiene.
- Report vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Maintain required vehicle documents and ensure their validity.
- Record vehicle movements, kilometres, fuel usage, and other required details.
- Ensure safe boarding and getting down of patients and attendants.
- Maintain qualified and courteous behaviour with patients, attendants, doctors, and employees.
- Follow hospital security, infection-control, and safety procedures when transporting patients.

Patient Transportation

- Assist in safe transportation of patients between hospital departments and other authorized locations.
- Take additional care while transporting elderly, critically ill, disabled, or mobility-restricted patients.
- Follow instructions given by authorized clinical staff during patient transportation.




- Ensure required patient-related items accompany the patient when instructed.
- Avoid unnecessary delays during emergency transportation.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
- Ensure the vehicle has adequate fuel and required emergency equipment.
- Inform the concerned department about scheduled servicing and repairs.
- Do not operate a vehicle that is unsafe or has a serious mechanical defect.
- Maintain vehicle service and maintenance records as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is parked only in designated areas.

Documentation & Records

- Maintain vehicle logbook.
- Maintain fuel records.
- Maintain trip and kilometre records.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, and vehicle damage immediately.
- Submit required documents and records to the concerned department on time.

Emergency Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to emergency transportation requirements.
- Drive carefully and efficiently during emergency situations without compromising road safety.
- Coordinate with the Emergency Department and authorized hospital staff when required.
- Follow hospital emergency and disaster-management procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
