Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, handle billing and invoicing, and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting, GST compliance, TDS, and financial documentation, preferably in the transport and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
- Handle customer billing, vendor payments, and outstanding payment follow-ups.
- Maintain accounts related to transportation expenses, freight charges, fuel expenses, tolls, and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Manage GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and coordinate with clients for payment collection.
- Verify transport bills, vendor invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly reports,



and expense summaries.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments, transport vendors, and clients regarding billing and payment discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate data entry and compliance with company accounting procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a relevant accounting qualification.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in transport, logistics, or a freight-related company.
- Valuable knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and taxation procedures.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with prior experience in transport management, logistics, fleet operations, or freight billing will be preferred.
- Candidates who can independently handle day-to-day accounting activities and payment follow-ups will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
