We are seeking a skilled Structural Fabricator to join an oil and gas project in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and fitting metal structures according to technical drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare metal materials for fabrication.
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components.
- Use fabrication tools and equipment safely.
- Check dimensions and alignment to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with welders, fitters, and other project team members.
- Follow site safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organised.
Requirements
- Previous structural fabrication experience is preferred.
- Oil and gas project experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of metal cutting, fitting, measuring, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings is preferred.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
