Job Description – Control & Instrumentation (C&I;) Supervisor / Site In-Charge

1. Position: C&I; Supervisor

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
Experience: 3–5 years in C&I; erection, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day C&I; erection, installation, and maintenance activities at the project site.
- Monitor installation of field instruments, control valves, transmitters, sensors, and junction boxes.
- Supervise cable laying, cable tray installation, glanding, termination, and loop checking.
- Coordinate instrument calibration, continuity checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Manage technicians, electricians, and skilled manpower at the site.
- Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material reports, and work completion records.
- Coordinate with the Site In-Charge, client, and other departments for smooth execution.

2. Position: C&I; Site In-Charge

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
Experience: 7–10 years in C&I; project execution, preferably in thermal power plants or PSU projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complete C&I; site activities,



including erection, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and daily work schedules according to project requirements.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of field instruments, control valves, DCS/PLC systems, and related instrumentation equipment.
- Monitor cable tray erection, cable laying, termination, loop checking, calibration, and functional testing.
- Coordinate with PSU clients, consultants, project managers, and other contractors.
- Review drawings, technical specifications, work permits, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation.
- Track project progress, productivity, quality, safety compliance, and target completion dates.
- Prepare daily and monthly progress reports and resolve technical or site execution issues.
- Manage manpower deployment, attendance, material consumption, and site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of C&I; systems used in thermal power plants and industrial projects.
- Experience in instrumentation erection, calibration, testing, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, control valves, transmitters, and loop diagrams.
- Strong team leadership, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at PSU project sites and meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
