We are looking for a skilled BIW CAD Design Engineer with strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6 and Automotive Body-In-White (BIW) design. The candidate will be responsible for developing parametric body architecture concepts, creating advanced 3D CAD models, performing package studies, and supporting the development of innovative vehicle body structures. Experience in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform and automation/scripting is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain parametric BIW architecture concept models using CATIA V5/V6.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models, including Part Modeling and Generative Shape Design (GSD).
- Perform vehicle package studies and evaluate design feasibility to resolve system-level incompatibilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vehicle body structures and packaging.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and prepare technical solutions for design challenges.
- Prepare and present technical study reports to engineering teams and management.
- Support the development of advanced BIW features, technologies, and creative design concepts.
- Utilize scripting and automation techniques to improve design efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure designs meet quality, manufacturability, and engineering standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
