Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound Marketing Executive to drive business development, customer acquisition, and market expansion for industrial motors, gearboxes, gear motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related industrial power transmission products.

The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with OEMs, industrial customers, dealers, distributors, system integrators, and consultants, and achieving assigned sales and marketing targets.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of industrial products, technical sales, market trends, and customer requirements, with the ability to convert inquiries into profitable business.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Market Expansion

- Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial electric motors, gearboxes, gear motors, VFDs, and drive systems.
- Expand the customer base across industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, textiles, food processing, packaging, cement, steel, material handling, and process industries.
- Identify potential OEMs, machine manufacturers, panel builders, EPC contractors, dealers, distributors, and industrial end users.
- Develop new territories and strengthen the company's presence in existing markets.
- Conduct regular customer visits to generate leads, understand technical requirements, and develop long-term business relationships.

2. Technical Marketing & Product Promotion

- Promote products such as:
- Three-phase induction motors and IE2/IE3/IE4 energy-efficient motors.
- Helical, worm, bevel-helical, and planetary gearboxes.
- Geared motors and customized gear motor solutions.
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), AC drives, and motor control solutions.
- Motor-gearbox-drive combinations for industrial applications.
- Understand product specifications, power ratings, torque, RPM, gear ratios, mounting arrangements, duty cycles, and application requirements.




- Recommend suitable products based on customer applications and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the technical team to provide product selection, sizing, quotations, and application support.
- Promote energy-efficient solutions and identify opportunities for product upgrades and replacements.

3. Customer Relationship & Sales Development

- Develop and maintain relationships with purchase managers, maintenance heads, plant managers, electrical engineers, project engineers, and decision-makers.
- Generate inquiries, follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert opportunities into orders.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing customers to increase repeat business and customer retention.
- Identify competitor products, pricing, market positioning, and customer preferences.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely responses and customer satisfaction.

4. Marketing Strategy & Lead Generation

- Prepare and execute marketing plans to increase product awareness, market penetration, and revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify new industries, applications, customers, and growth opportunities.
- Participate in industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, technical seminars, and customer meets.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, product promotions, email campaigns, and industry-specific lead generation.
- Develop product presentations, technical brochures, application case studies, and sales support materials.
- Build a robust network of dealers, channel partners, OEMs, and industrial consultants.

5. Sales Planning & Performance Monitoring

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.




- Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit plans, lead pipelines, and business development reports.
- Maintain accurate customer information, inquiry status, quotation records, and follow-up schedules in the CRM or reporting system.
- Monitor sales performance, order conversion, gross margins, and market development activities.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, service, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related engineering fields; a marketing or business qualification is an advantage.
- 3–7 years of experience in industrial sales, technical marketing, or business development, preferably in motors, gearboxes, gear motors, VFDs, or industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of industrial products and their applications.
- Experience dealing with OEMs, industrial end users, distributors, panel builders, and machine manufacturers.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, product datasheets, specifications, and application requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial understanding, market analysis, and competitor tracking capabilities.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and market development.

- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Number of new customers and OEM accounts developed.
- Qualified inquiries generated and quotation-to-order conversion ratio.
- Revenue growth and gross profit margin.
- Market share and territory expansion.
- Number of active dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Customer retention and repeat business.
- Customer visit frequency and follow-up effectiveness.

Pay: ₹9,900.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
