Position: Junior Video Editor
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team and create engaging video content for YouTube and social media platforms, primarily focused on technology. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of YouTube-style editing, robust storytelling instincts, and an eye for pacing, visuals, and audience retention.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Add subtitles, transitions, zooms, sound effects, and basic motion graphics to enhance the viewing experience.
- Maintain engaging pacing, smooth visual flow, and effective storytelling to improve audience retention.
- Work with provided scripts, raw footage, and creative briefs to deliver high-quality videos.
- Ensure proper audio balancing, visual consistency, and overall editing quality.
- Create or assist with YouTube thumbnails and basic graphic design when required.
- Manage multiple editing tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements

- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.




- Understanding of YouTube-style editing techniques, including jump cuts, zoom-ins, subtitles, transitions, and pacing.
- Good sense of timing, storytelling, audio balance, and visual composition.
- Ability to follow instructions, incorporate feedback, and work independently when required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Prior experience editing tech-related content, such as gadget reviews, tech explainers, tutorials, or product videos.
- Basic knowledge of thumbnail design and graphic design principles is a plus.
