Position: Factory Manager
Experience: 15–25+ years in manufacturing and factory operations
Age Preference: 45 years and above
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field
Department: Production / Plant Operations
Reporting To: Managing Director / General Manager

Job Purpose

To lead and manage overall factory operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, cost control, manpower efficiency, workplace safety, and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day factory operations and production activities.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of targets.
- Supervise production, maintenance, quality control, stores, and dispatch departments.
- Manage manpower, including supervisors, operators, and contract workers.
- Improve productivity, reduce wastage, and control manufacturing costs.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns.
- Maintain workplace safety, discipline, and statutory compliance.
- Monitor inventory, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.




- Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, and other departments.
- Train and develop supervisors and production teams.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and factory administration.
- Proven experience in production planning and process improvement.
- Ability to handle labour issues and resolve operational problems.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP/MIS systems and production reporting.
- Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- An experienced and mature qualified with a proven track record in factory management.
- Experience handling large teams and multiple production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain operational discipline.
- Willingness to work on-site and take full responsibility for factory performance.

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and expertise.
Work Location: To be specified by the employer.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
