- Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and drilling machines to fabricate parts from bar stock or metal blanks. [1, 2]
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and shop blueprints to determine correct dimensions and tooling sequences. [1, 2]
- Quality Control & Inspection: Measure finished workpieces using precision instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications. [1, 2]
- Programming & Adjustments: Load, edit,



and run G-code or CAD/CAM programs, making live feed, speed, and offset adjustments to optimize production. [1, 2]
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Monitor live cycles for tool wear, unusual vibrations, or mechanical errors, performing routine machine lubrication and daily maintenance. [1, 2]
