Job Description

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility and Pregnancy Centre is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations, medicine dispensing and inventory management at our Tiruppur location.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines according to valid prescriptions and applicable procedures.
- Check medicine names, strengths, quantities and expiry dates before dispensing.
- Provide patients with medicine-use instructions as prescribed and within the pharmacist’s skilled scope.
- Maintain accurate records of medicine dispensing and pharmacy transactions.
- Monitor medicine stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Check expiry dates and ensure medicines are stored under appropriate conditions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other hospital departments regarding medication availability.
- Assist with receiving, arranging and maintaining pharmacy inventory.




- Follow applicable pharmacy regulations, prescription requirements and hospital procedures.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization and proper storage practices.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged products or medication-related concerns to the appropriate person.
- Protect patient information and maintain accurate documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council, as applicable.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is required.
- Knowledge of medicine storage, dispensing procedures and inventory management.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to coordinate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Immediate joiners required.
