Ekhaya Brands is looking for a motivated Accountant (0–1 year experience) to join our accounts team. The role involves day-to-day accounting operations, invoice preparation, compliance data, and coordination with our CA. This is a great opportunity for a fresher or early-career professional to gain hands-on exposure in accounting for a fast-growing consumer brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare invoices and e-invoices for outgoing material.
- Maintain ledgers and reconcile accounts of suppliers and clients.
- Track costing of incoming material and maintain accurate records.
- Generate e-way bills and maintain compliance records.
- Prepare employee salary statements.
- Compile monthly TDS data for submission.
- Reconcile company bank accounts with books of accounts.
- Manage petty cash and office/warehouse expense records.
- Check receivables from online marketplaces and ensure settlement accuracy.
- Coordinate with CA to ensure GST filing and statutory compliance data is ready on time.
- Maintain organized records for audit and compliance.
- Prepare basic MIS reports (payables, receivables, expenses, cashflow summaries).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
- 0–1 year of experience in accounting (freshers are welcome).
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software; knowledge of Zoho Books will be a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good Excel skills and comfort with digital accounting workflows.
