About the Role

We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern / Junior SEO Executive with around 1 year of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimisation. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to Local SEO or E-commerce SEO and a strong interest in growing their technical and digital marketing skills.

This is an on-site role based in Mira Road Mumbai, offering an chance to work on real SEO campaigns, improve organic visibility, and gain exposure to both on-page and technical SEO.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis and search intent analysis.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, content optimisation and internal linking.
- Support Local SEO activities, including tion, local keyword research and citation management.
- Work on E-commerce SEO, including category, product and collection page optimisation is a plus.
- Assist with technical SEO tasks, such as basic website audits, crawlability, indexing, broken links, redirects and structured data.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic and other important SEO KPIs.
- Assist in identifying SEO opportunities through competitor and SERP analysis.




- Coordinate with content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices and industry trends.

Requirements

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, with practical experience in SEO, keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and Google Search Console.
- Approximately 1 year of practical SEO experience through an internship, agency, freelance work or in-house role.
- Hands-on understanding of Local SEO or E-commerce SEO.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO and link building.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Keyword Planner is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.

Good to Have

Candidates with additional knowledge or training in the following areas will have an advantage:

- Basic Technical SEO
- SEO Content Writting
- Keyword Research
- Digital Marketing / Performance Marketing
- Google Ads
- Basic understanding of how websites, CMS platforms and e-commerce websites work
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
