Core Responsibilities (Bullet Points for Experience Section)

- Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate VMC machines by positioning raw materials, securing fixtures, and loading approved programs.
- Offsets & Calibration: Configure and adjust work and tool offsets in real time to keep part dimensions within strict technical tolerances.
- Programming & Editing: Load, run, and make minor manual edits to G-code and M-code programs based on component requirements.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings, process sheets, and geometric dimensioning.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished and in-process parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Tool & Cutter Maintenance: Monitor tool wear, replace worn cutters or taps,



and update tool life counters to prevent scrap or machine damage.
- Troubleshooting & Safety: Monitor machine performance for chatter, abnormal loads, or vibrations, immediately pausing cycles to report breakdowns and adhering to plant safety (PPE) protocols.
- Housekeeping & Logs: Maintain coolant and chip levels, perform daily preventive maintenance, and log shift production and rejection metrics.
